Mona Anastas was born in Sherman Oaks CA. She was one of five children to attend Highland Hall Waldorf School K-12th Grade. First generation American, Mona was raised by her Polish mother Liane Anastas an Anthroposophist and Waldorf teacher and her Palestinian/Greek entrepreneurial father Samir Anastas. Mona attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn NY and graduated with a BA in Fine Art and Photography with honors. Mona is a mother of three children. She moved to Seattle in 2013. Mona took up her own anthroposophical study in 2015 and completed Foundation Studies in Spring of 2017. Mona has taught Parent Child Class at Bright Water Waldorf School and currently working on her own entrepreneurial ventures. Mona is an artist and loves anything to do with creating from a series of photographs, to silver and beaded jewelry to illustrating and writing children’s books. She loves to cook and play with her three children. Mona is dedicated to sharing and helping Sound Circle Center reach broader and higher heights as Foundation Studies was one of the most rewarding experiences of her life.
